Sandscape

The inspiration of the collection is characterized by organic shapes that quickly remind of dunes, sandy landscapes or layered stone formations through flowing movements and natural structures. Parched landscapes, where no vegetation breaks the harmony of the structure, give the basic features of the design. In architecture there are influences that take up a basic idea by adapting the buildings to nature and their surroundings. Rigid materials in natural, soft and organic forms combined with fluid, free-moving or draped fabrics create the desired look. The look is based on earthy and sandy colours: browns and shades of off-white and beige, combined with nude colours such as rose and pastel coral, fit the aesthetic. The SANDSCAPE collection is a womenswear and menswear collection with influences from genderfluid garments. The collection is focused on business and evening wear – but can also be used in everyday life by combining the individual pieces. The aim of this collection is to show that sustainable fashion can be implemented not only in basics or old-fashioned clothing, but also in elaborate, complex garments. The designs included were created with an affinity for detail and evoke the visual diversity of nature through a combination of clean lines and fluid, draped shapes. Inspired by what the earth will look like if the way of life of the human population does not change. Through our lifestyle, our interaction with nature, food consumption and especially the fashion industry, we humans are increasingly destroying our planet and its natural diversity. Until one day there is nothing left but a stone and sand landscape without any vegetation. With this collection Daniel Buresch Designs wants to make customers aware of the consequences of their behaviour and draw attention to the fast-moving fashion world, because fashion can also have the opposite effect: a sustainable use of resources and the environment, for example from produce renewable raw materials through ecological cultivation or counteract the trend of mass consumption by upcycling waste products from the (food) industry.
